If you’re reading this post then odds are you’ve seen an episode or two of A&ETV’s “Flip This House“. Maybe you sat down to watch it to pick up some rehab tips or maybe you were channel surfing one Sunday morning an got hooked. Either way, I think we can all agree it’s an entertaining show watching some top-notch real estate investors from around the country tackle some ugly houses and difficult situations in the never-ending quest to make money in real estate.
As you also may know, some of the professionals behind the FortuneBuilders Mastery program — like Than Merrill, Paul Esajian and JD Esajian — are also one of the teams on that show. If you tune into an episode and find them in San Diego, odds are those are the guys from CT Homes, which is their flipping houses investment company. Well, the same guys behind CT Homes are the same guys who founded FortuneBuilders. It’s a three-pronged attack!
- CT Homes — flips houses everyday in the San Diego region doing what we all do – market for deals, utilize private capital, rehab and flip houses
- FortuneBuilders — the real estate investment education ranked #1 in business education by Inc. magazine nationwide
- “Flip This House” — the popular TV show that follows their house flipping adventures in San Diego
However, some people mistakenly have the order in which these were created reversed. You see, being on “Flip This House” was not the reason for Than, Paul and JD’s success. They were approached to be on the show because they were already successful. That’s a key piece of information that people either don’t know or refuse to acknowledge when examining the Mastery real estate education program. It bears repeating: being on TV was not the reason for their success.
Did it hurt? Of course not. Let’s be realistic. No doubt it’s served as incredible marketing for their other real estate business pursuits. But the takeaway message is clear:
They did not need to be on “Flip This House” to be successful as real estate investors.
What does that mean? It means they already had the business model in place to make money in real estate flipping houses. They already had their action plan down and were following it and flipping houses left and right. They already figured out how to flip houses.
That’s the same exact action plan taught in the FortuneBuilders Mastery real estate coaching program.
Do you have it in you to follow in their footsteps if you had their same A to Z Action Plan to follow?
Only you can answer that, but it starts HERE….
